Surgery in three days.
Finally feels like this is actually going to happen. Surgery is this Thursday morning. Nervous, but trying not to be. At this point, I just keep thinking about my three kids and I know that this is the best thing for me. Any last words of warning/encouragement would be appreciated. I'm looking forward to to moving into the next part of the journey.
Have your protein drinks and other liquids (yogurt, broth, etc.) on hand at home so when you get back you are ready to go with meals. You'll be tired and sore and if you don't have to worry about meal planning all the better.
